Computer Aided Design (CAD) enables precision design, part visualization, documentation, and data for 3D printing and other manufacturing proceses.
Most all projects are completed with CAD tools, using Solidworks software. 3D CAD models of parts are created and organized in a CAD layout. Purchased components first, followed by preliminary manufactured part designs, all rendered with photo accuracy along the way. Parts in the CAD layout become refined, and their data enables 3D printed parts, etc. to be made for review and analysis. The part's designs are optimized, and production documentation is created for each fabricated part. Assembly drawings and Bills of Materials bring order to the collection individual parts.
Mielke also helps new companies establish part number systems and document control procedures.
