Mechanical Design
A design concept is only as good as its ability to be efficiently manufactured, and at a price consistent with the value of the product.  Mechanical engineering is about Design for Manufacturing.  Designing the smallest details, of all the parts in a product, so that all precisely fit and function together, and in a way that is efficient and cost effective to manufacture.

A broad knowledge of production materials and their manufacturing processes enables effective initial mechanical conceptualization, general cost approximations, prototype fabrication procedures, and production documentation and data required to produce or acquire every part in a product's assembly.

Parts are designed and documented for manufacturing for:

Injection molded plastic
Sheet metal
Extruded plastics and metals
Vacuum/pressure formed plastics
Die cast and sand cast metals
Blow molded/ rotomolded plastics
Stamped metals
Fiberglass
Wood
Fabric and canvas
Cast concrete
3D printing
